A message from Casey Hood

“The opportunity to serve as interim State Representative provided an avenue of service to my fellow man that I never thought would be available,  It is my goal to ensure that our Conservative Northwest Tennessee values are preserved and ultimately reflected in our State Legislature and the Laws which they enact.

I believe it is God’s right to chose which child lives and which does not, it is not for man to usurp his prerogative and condone the taking of a life of an unborn child.

I wholeheartedly believe in the Constitution of the United States of America and will never countenance any change to the Second Amendment and will always defend its premise!

I am a true supporter of our Public Schools and our Teachers.   We entrust them every day to educate, protect, and help raise our children.  To that end, I believe that our teachers are undervalued and will always work diligently to improve our public schools and the salary that our teachers receive.

Having a construction background and having experience as a small business owner gives me a unique perspective on how important the completion of I69 is to Northwest Tennessee.  I will work continually with our elected leaders as well as every concerned citizen to ensure timely completion of is sought.  All the while ensuring that our local and state law enforcement agencies are adequately prepared for the increase in the responsibilities that each will obtain once the project is completed. It is my goal to one day represent you as an elected official, but more importantly, it is my goal to help keep each of you informed about what is most important in Northwest Tennessee.”
